“I don’t know” – Kamakura shrine wedding

Nick and Risa live in Australia but Risa is from Japan so after a ceremony and get-together in Australia they had another one at the Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gū Shrine in Kamakura. The only problem was that Nick, who knows almost no Japanese, had to read the vows in Japanese. Problem solved by some heavy coaching from Risa and after only a day or two of practice he did a pretty good job of it.

Risa’s dad doesn’t know that much English but he always seems to know just enough to make everyone laugh – during Risa’s closing speech she turned to her Dad as if to ask for help and he had a great line that had the reception laughing.

Some kind words from Risa:

Nick can’t stop saying how AWESOME you are. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!
I’ve seen it twice so far and I’ve cried each time. It was beautiful!

Ohhhhh!!! I’m so excited to show others, but at the same time I don’t want to cry again! Ahaha. Oh we loved it!

Thank you so much, again!! it was so awesome to have you as our cinematographer! I’m so glad I found you!!

The guys at Jasper and Ruby Visions sent over the link to Nick and Risa’s Australian wedding. A nice contrast to the more formal Japanese wedding, their Australian wedding looked a lot of great out-door fun.
