kimono photos with the sakura and wildflowers of hamarikyu park, tokyo

We have being wanting to offer this for sometime and finally did our first shoot with it the other day – kimonos! Yes, in addition to pre-wedding shoots in casual clothes or the couple’s wedding dress/tuxedo, we are now also able to offer a range of kimono for rental for shoots in Tokyo and surrounding areas.

Our first kimono pre-wedding photo shoot was in the beautiful Hamarikyu gardens, near Shiodome with a couple from Singapore. Read on.

Although Hamarikyu Gardens is not famous for Sakura, that is a good thing as it means that the park doesn’t attract big crowds and makes taking photos with Sakura much easier. Hanami parties (ots of beer drinking under sakura trees) are not allowed in the park either so keeps things peaceful. hamarikyu-prewedding-photography7 hamarikyu-prewedding-photography8 hamarikyu-prewedding-photography9

There is even a small shrine in the park. Kimono+Japanese Shrine = classic Japan memory picture. hamarikyu-prewedding-photography10 hamarikyu-prewedding-photography11 hamarikyu-prewedding-photography12 hamarikyu-prewedding-photography13
